Royal St. Kitts Golf Club

From the tee, look east toward an endless sea. To the north, a dormant volcano is coated with a rich coat of tropical foliage. Few sounds permeate the setting, save for the soft rush of the perpetual surf. This is the sport of gold on St. Kitts. Here you will play the 18 championship holes designed by Tom McBroom at the St. Kitts Royal Golf Club. And you will find that few  fairways in the Americas can match the signature features of this challenging course.   Picturesque oceanfront fairways, four tee choices, and 6,911 yards of tropical golf are intertwined with the volcanic landscape of the island. Take special care on 15, 16, and 17 where the Atlantic Ocean creates  a formidable water hazard. Two of the course’s front nine holes play next to the Caribbean Sea. Where else can you play a round of golf while overlooking not one,  but two great bodies of water? The Royal Golf Club features a full-service, pro shop with brand-name golf wear, equipment, and accessories.

Our Beaches

• Banana Bay

  This beautiful, secluded beach is at the very tip of the southeast peninsula and offers pristine waters, soft sand, swaying coconut trees and uninterrupted peace. As is the case with the other beaches on the peninsula, you will need a car to get out to this oasis.

• Cockleshell Bay

  Cockleshell Bay is a secluded stretch of powder-white sand. Over two miles (3 km) long, it offers a splendid view of our sister island of Nevis, since it sits directly on the Narrows - the channel between the two islands.

• Conaree Beach

  Conaree Beach is a narrow strip of gray-black sand, signifying the meeting of the volcanic and coral features of the island. This beach faces the Atlantic, making it an ideal place for bodysurfing, as well as snorkeling along the reef.

• Dieppe Bay Beach

  This small palm-lined, black sand beach is protected by a major reef, making it ideal for bathing. As home to a variety of marine life, the reef also makes for excellent snorkeling. When you settle back for some sun, you'll find the tanning process enhanced by the shiny volcanic sand that draws so many visitors to this exotic beach.

• Half Moon Bay

  Like Conaree Bay, this Atlantic facing beach is great for a brisk swim and some exhilarating bodysurfing. Although there are no facilities on this beach, the serenity is well worth the drive.

• North Frigate Bay

  This powder white-sand Atlantic coast beach is literally in walking distance from the south side. It is ideal for relaxing, swimming, windsurfing and traditional surfing in some areas. Various hotels and restaurants, like the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and the Sugar Bay Club, are situated on this stretch of beach.

• Pump Bay

  Pump Bay, in the historical town of Sandy Point, is a good place for beginners to get to appreciate the joys of diving and snorkeling. It's a shiny black sand beach in the shadow of the magnificent Brimstone Hill Fortress.

• Sandy Bank Bay

  This is an unusually calm Atlantic beach with a quiet, romantic aura. While bathing in the warm waters or strolling across the white sand, you will very much appreciate the privacy that the Sandy Bank affords, since there are no restaurants or water sports available here to draw any resemblance of a crowd.

• South Friars Bay

  The Caribbean Sea side of Friars Bay provides a splendid beach experience for all. The water is calm and the atmosphere is usually quite lively, especially on Sundays.

• South Frigate Bay

  Here you will find the most action-packed strip of beach on the Caribbean Sea. And here the party goes on until the wee hours of the morning. This one-mile stretch of white-sand beach, is ideal for swimming, windsurfing, water-skiing and various other water sports.

• Turtle Bay

  This is adjacent to Sandy Bank beach. This stretch of white sand beach is adjacent to Sandy Bank beach. It offers more seclusion and the opportunity to do some fine surfing when conditions are right.

• Turtle Beach

  Turtle Beach is not to be mistaken for Turtle Bay, which is on the northern coast of the peninsula. Turtle Beach is situated at the extreme end of the South East Peninsula, and is ideal for a day out. It houses an excellent restaurant called The Beach House (open seasonally).

• White House Bay

  The rocky reef that shelters White House Bay, and a sunken tugboat that harbors great schools of multi-colored fish and other marine life, make it ideal for snorkeling. When you've seen it all, this is a delightful spot to just float around and take in some Vitamin D.

St Kitts and Nevis
